Good Split Ring Pliers
« on: June 02, 2012, 02:42:01 PM »
After some imput as to a good brand of split ring pliers guys.
Recent Nelson trip left a lot of lures with crushed trebles and at the moment I am using a Leatherman to change them.

I've always just used my hands and whatever I'm trying to change
Like putting a key on a key ring
Done this with little bream trebles to big xraps for tuna

Haven't had a problem yet  :o

Noob, if they are for bream / trout size lures I'd be looking at one of these.

In my view, they are far superior to pliers, easily stored in a lure box & much easier to use on the smaller rings

The Smith Pincettes are excellent but I found them hard to find when I needed to replace them (without paying freight on 1 small item). Found the same thing in Wilson brand at Mo's
