me and yutryn are in this semi final as team www.newcastlefishing.com. hopefully we make the top ten and sneek into the grand final. Will let you know how we go.
Great series and think anyone with the time and boat to go in it should give it a go. The forster round is first up next year and a great place to start

well the semi was on the weekend, with my team having a hard weekend, finishing 14th out of 29. The top 13 made it thru to the grand final  >:(
we struggled all weekend with no electric as the foot pedal packed it in and no one up port macquarie had one for sale, and on comp day a howling wind meant we were being pushed onto or away from our spots all day, making it very tough.
we managed only 2 bream, 30cm and 27cm and finished with .87kg for the day. Yutryn caught the two fish and i got nothing but flathead all day.
A lot of teams struggled with quite a few getting none or one fish.
Both bream caught on ecogear aquas. Good lures but very fragile, they rip with ease and we went thru about 4 packs of them. Not worth the money i say, but did get two fish.
Good winning bag of 3.2kgs i think with one of team berkleys fish going 1.3kgs and the biggest weighed in at port in a gama comp.
always next year for us or pray one of the higher placed teams pulls out hahaha

Still a good place to be mark 14th like you said if a team pulls out your in. With that wind & no electric you guys would of been blown around like a bobby cork no wonder you had a hard day breaming.

Good to see you guys still did well in such harsh conditions  ;)
